In a bid to promote entrepreneurial skills amongst the youth of India, especially the backward classes, a new program has been initiated. The Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with Mahabfic.com has decided to provide a cryptocurrency mining training program. The program will particularly cater to the Dalit youth from rural areas. This manoeuvre aims to help the underprivileged earn some extra income. The partnership was first announced on LinkedIn on 15 March, 2018 and it is said to be the world’s largest Bitcoin training program.
Youngsters will be trained at Bitcoin mining centre across 30 cities in India, which include Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Kolkata, Chennai etc. Mahabfic.com founder and treasurer for Democrats Abroad India, Dr. Tausif Malik was reported stating to The Indian Express, “At least 20 years ago, Pune lost out to Bengaluru in becoming the Silicon Valley of India. We do not want to miss the bus this time.” Malik and DICCI wish to make Maharashtra the Bitcoin capital of India.

The Founder as well as Chairman of DICCI, Milind Kamble believes that, “Blockchain is the future of digital technology and is taking the world by storm. Bitcoin/ cryptocurrency mining is a must for blockchain platforms to operate and hence, we felt the need to offer the Bitcoin mining training program (BMTP) to our youth on a nationwide scale for self-employment.”
The three day program to be conducted by DICCI itself consists of two days of technical training and one day for learning business essentials. The program apart from fulfilling the purpose of providing crypto mining training also aims to inculcate a sense of entrepreneurship in the participants.
